Australian Kakadu Plum

Tasting Notes

Paradise Gin is the culmination of a careful selection of key botanicals with the unique addition of Kakadu Plum, an Australian “Superfood “native (The plums are hand- picked in Arnhem Land). This, we believe, has allowed us to achieve a spirit that is complex, aromatic, refreshingly elegant and can be mixed as a cocktail or with tonic water without losing its appeal and the unique flavour profile of Kakadu Plum.

Kakadu Plum is soft on the palate with a fruit-forward nose but not sweet. At 40% abv the accompanying flavours of juniper and citrus help to clean the palate but not dominate.

Best served with Long Rays (Australian made and least amount of added sugar) tonic, ice and orange peel.

Native Rosella Flower

Using the Australian native Hibiscus: Rosella flower as one of the key botanicals, we created a spirit that is deliciously savoury with citrus notes of grapefruit, pink pepper corns and complemented by juniper leaving your palate clean and ready for another round.

Rosella flower lends a rhubarb like tartness to the spirit, so if you are looking for a dry (but still smooth) gin this should fit the bill – which is supported by the higher concentration of juniper.

Best served with Long Rays soda water, ice and grapefruit peel.

Oak-Aged Pink Paradise

Combining the talents of a local (Queensland) Cooper and using hand-selected, medium char, American oak staves and placing our Pink Paradise Gin in this limited, 100l barrel for 7 months, our oak aged gin is ready for your indulgence.

Nose: A combination of oak sweetness and juniper followed by rich aromas of dark chocolate and citrus.
