Paradise Distillers is a company based on the Gold Coast, Australia. It is our goal at Paradise Distillers to develop brands that we can all enjoy. With over 30 years in the wine and spirit industry it has been our dream to create something that we can be proud to put our stamp on. Our family has lived on the Gold Coast for over 30 years (my wife was born here, I'm a blow in from up the road) and so we wanted to create a product that would reflect parts of our upbringing. For example, the pool on the label is similar to the one my wife used to swim in as a child when her family lived in Surfers Paradise. She came up with the label concept, sketched the original draft then my father completed the image. Where possible we have worked with local business (with in 15KM radius from our home). Bottling, labelling (Gold Coast label company), point-of-sale (from a company in Southport) and packaging (boxes are from Burleigh) was also a family affair with our children, brother-in-law and a few friends helping out. A big thank you to all our friends, family and local businesses that have helped us get to where where are and beyond.
We hope you like Paradise Gin.
It has been our dream to create a range of beverages that suit our climate and individual palates. Through careful selection of botanicals and consultation with consumers and industry professionals, we have come up with our first brand, Paradise Gin . A key element was to have Australian botanicals in the mix so we had to source the right ingredients. Kakadu Plum stood out as the obvious choice as it is an Australian native and when macerated with other key ingredients it was delicious!
It took several days of sampling a variety of options and botanical mixes to finally come up with a recipe that we all agreed on, Paradise Gin featuring Kakadu Plum which we released in November 2020.
Now only a few months later we are releasing Pink Paradise Gin with Rosella Flower, another Australian native botanical. Pink Paradise Gin is a dry savoury gin that will sit nicely by itself on the rocks or with a citrus infused tonic. Delicious!
Our gin is currently being produced under strict supervision at Grandad Jack's Craft Distillery in Miami, Australia... until we can find a home of our own.
